    Sub-Committees are small teams of Board Members in charge of specific issues, and as such are bound to the Board Members' Code of Conduct.

    Standing Committees

    Standing Committees are groups of volunteers from the community – with one or more Board Member acting as liaison with the Board – assembled to tackle certain issues over a period of time. To be recognized as a bona fide CBRA Standing Committee, its members are subject to the Committee Members' Code of Conduct, and the committee itself must comply with the CBRA Committee Guidelines.

Note to prospective presenters to the Board
Generally, the Cadboro Bay Residents Association Board meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm, usually at Goward House (2495 Arbutus Road
).
Members of the CBRA are welcome to attend the meetings, but since space and time are limited, we ask that:
  • You contact the at least 7 days prior to the meeting date
  • The presentation or speaking notes must be received by the Chair at least 5 days prior to the meeting date and must include a specific action that you are requesting the CBRA board to take (e.g. writing a letter to Mayor and council).
  • The presentation may be up to 5 minutes in length.
